Green Label Designs hits the red carpet at the launch party for Charleston Bliss Concierge (Charleston, SC August 2010)
The fabulous Jessica Reid invited Green Label Designs to attend the launch party of her new company Charleston Bliss Concierge. Karen Green and Skully Stotler of GLD attended this society event, walking the red carpet with some of Charleston's most elite crowd. The event took place at OAK Steakhouse and was hosted by Chef Brett McKee who is also one of Karen's personal friends. During the entire evening, Oak was packed with potential clients, friends and family who came out to support Jessica for big night. Green Label Designs also donated a Signature Skirt to one of Jessica's lucky fans!

2010 CHARLOTTE, NC FASHION WEEK, September 23-25th, 2010
This years theme, "City Confidential" will take the audience on a visual journey throughout the streets of Charlotte and to uncover the hottest urban fashion art and entertainment scene and those who have influenced it. We are excited and fortunate to once again host the third annual event in Charlotte.... we are inviting the best and brightest, and most creative designer and models from Charlotte and around the country to register and be part of this year's show. Although we have participated in a few other shows up to this point, Charlotte, NC Fashion Week will be our first SOLO show. We are excitedly working on new designs to make this an absolutely fantastic and memorable event! the upcoming months will be full of model calls, fittings, music selection and everything else that goes along with putting together a phenomenal production!

2010 EAGLE HILL ANNUAL SPRING BENEFIT (Greenwich, CT April 2010)
Eagle Hill is a language-based, remedial program committed to educating children with learning disabilities. The curriculum is individualized, interdisciplinary, and transitional in nature. A secure, structured, nurturing environment supports and stimulates the development of the whole child. As a result, children learn to view themselves as competent individuals with a strong sense of self. Each spring, EHS has an annual benefit, this year it was an evening celebrating everything that is natural and wonderful about this planet – earth, wind, and water.
GLD was asked to give a silent auction item and as a friend of several parents of children who attend Eagle Hill School, we were of course honored to do so.

THE GEORGETOWN JINGLE (Washington DC, December 2009)
Georgetown Jingle 2009 raises funds for the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at Georgetown University Hospital. The program’s internationally recognized specialists are on the cutting edge of cancer research and treatment, and each staff member is dedicated to providing compassionate care in a setting that encourages young patients to act like kids-even while they're battling cancer.
Our friends at JDS Designs asked us to donate an auction prize for the silent auction and without hesitation offered a Signature Skirt and matching "Just Like Mommy Dress". The event was a total success and we were so honored to be there and meet some of these amazing children that are battling cancer.
CRYSTAL NATION FASHION SHOW (NYC October 2009)
The ridiculously talented Simeon Kasmetski and Maria/Robert Pucciariello of Crystal Nation asked us to show with them at the fabulous Hudson Terrace in New York City pairing our Signature Skirts and The Boxer Shorts with their amazing crystal creations. PLITZS FASHION MAKETING, 2010 Charlotte NC Fashion Week Model Castings
June 17th and June 19th in Charlotte, NC
Shannon, Skully and I (along with the most adorable 2 1/2 year old) traveled to Charlotte, NC to choose our models for our September 25th show. Over two castings, GLD along with the other designers showing at Fashion Week, watched over 200 models strut their stuff and show off their best poses while we all scribbled notes and made decisions on who would in fact walk down the catwalk wearing our clothing. We had true success in our search and also had an opportunity to spend some time in the wonderful city of Charlotte!
